  • Why do I need a professional organiser?
    There are many life events or changes that mean that some people need some help to declutter and organise their home, it might be preparing your home to sell, the arrival of a new baby or downsizing. A professional organiser will also help you put systems in place so you can find your things when you need them. After your home has been professionally decluttered and organised you will feel like a weight has lifted and your home will feel calmer and more inviting. It's also been proven that decluttering and creating order in your home can help improve the symptoms of anxiety and depression.
  • What can I expect during a decluttering session?
    After your initial free telephone consultation, we will be prepared for what you want to achieve during your session and work to the following schedule; Decluttering and Sorting. We begin by collecting and sorting the items into like categories. This will help you to see what you own. Then you can identify the items that you wish to keep and those you would like to dispose of, donate or re-home. It is up to you how hands on you want to be during this process. If mobility is an issue for you, I will do all of the lifting and hands on work for you. When it comes to decluttering, I will provide advice, but will not make you get rid of anything. It is essential that the final decision on what to keep and what to get rid of is made by you. Planning and organising your space. Once your space is clear of all clutter, it's time to begin the organising of your belongings and put in place some organising systems to ensure that your space works efficiently for you. I will look strategically at the space and the areas and will provide advice and guidance on the most appropriate way to store your belongings according to your needs. It is crucial that this step is customised to you and for your family, so that you will be able to maintain it in the long term. Completion & maintenance. Your space will be organised in the way that works for you. A sense of calm will emerge from the room and for many people this feels like a huge weight being lifted off their shoulders.   • Can you assist me with preparing my house to go on the market and helping me move?
    Absolutely! With a back ground in property sales, I would welcome the opportunity to assist with preparing your house to sell to help you achieve the best-selling price. Helping you with decluttering will also help to make the moving process a lot easier. We can also help with packing and unpacking to make moving home a breeze.
  • How long will it take to organise/declutter my home?
    I offer 4 hour declutter and organise sessions. In this time we normally can focus on one category, space or room. The number of sessions that you may require is dependent how many rooms or spaces you need us to tidy and declutter along with the size of your home and how challenging you may find to make decisions around items you wish to keep or discard. During a complimentary discovery call, we are normally able to determine how long the process may take.
  • How do I book with you?
    We will email a booking form to you and 50% deposit will be payable, if you need to reschedule, we will require 48 hours' notice. If you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch using the contact form.
  • What if I need to reschedule my booking?
    We understand that life happens and sometimes things get in the way. If you have booked with us and need to cancel or reschedule, we simply ask that you give us at least 48 hrs notice via email or telephone. Any bookings that are cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hrs of a confirmed booking will forfeit their 50% deposit.
